common questions
deleting your account
In the app, open the Settings tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account and all your data, including goals, workouts and chat history. It can't be undone.
how workouts get into myto
myto reads your workouts from Apple Health. Anything that saves workouts to Apple Health shows up in myto, including your Apple Watch and other fitness apps that are set to write to Apple Health. New workouts come in on their own. To bring in older history, go to Settings → Apple Health → Sync all workout history.
You can also log a workout by hand: on the home screen, tap + and choose Log Workout.
a workout is missing
First check that myto is allowed to read your workouts: in the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps → myto, and turn on Workouts. If another app recorded the workout, make sure that app writes to Apple Health too. Still missing? Email us with the date of the workout and the app or device that recorded it.
changing or pausing your plan
On the home screen, tap View Plan, then open the menu at the top right. Plan Settings lets you change the intensity, which days you can train, cross-training and blocked dates. The same menu lets you pause and resume the plan, or delete it for good.
You can also just tell your coach in chat what changed, like a busy week or a day you can't train, and your coach can suggest moving, swapping or lightening sessions. Nothing changes until you approve it.
your data
How we collect, use and protect your data is covered in our privacy policy. You can turn AI coaching off at any time in Settings, and deleting your account removes your data (see above).
reporting a problem
The more we know, the faster we can fix it. When you write, it helps to include:
- what you were doing, and what you expected to happen
- what happened instead, including the exact wording of any error
- roughly when it happened, and your time zone
- your device and iOS version
- the myto version and build number, shown in Settings under About
- a screenshot or screen recording, if you can
- the email address on your myto account, if you're writing from a different one
Please never send us your login code.
